Accounts Payable Specialist
Chevy Chase, Maryland-based TIG Global is the market leader in developing websites and interactive web marketing strategies for the finest hotels and resorts throughout the world to include US, Caribbean, Europe, and Asia. The office is metro-accessible.
Job Summary: To assist with the organization’s accounts payable process and other related projects within the Accounting and Finance group.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Review and verify contracts and process invoices.
- Interpret and implement contractual accounts payable requirements which vary by contract.
- Interaction with internal & external customers as required on accounts payble matters.
- Review and analyze billed and unbilled A/R on a monthly basis.
- Reconciliation of billed and unbilled performed on a monthly basis.
- Compute and verify computational and details accuracy on all invoices and analysis
- Perform revenue tracking, analysis, and reporting of all projects.
- Use Microsoft Solomon, Excel and other software systems to create and provide reports to project directors, contracts staff, and customers.
- Perform other administrative duties as requested (filing, organizing records, create electronic copies of all important documents such as Contract, modifications, and etc.)
Qualifications:
- Solid understanding of contracts and standard accounts payable procedures.
- BA/BS in one of the following: Accounting, Finance or Business Administration.
- 2-5 years working in an office environment in accounting, accounts payable.
- Able to work independently and in teams.
- Must be able to prioritize and complete multiple tasks within strict deadlines.
