Job Description
The Director of Search Engine (SEO) Optimization will be responsible for assisting the VP of Technology in improving clients’ search engine visibility and ROI through search engine optimization. Candidates need a strong background of search engines and search engine methodologies, “search engine friendly” content, link and website architecture strategies and a strong understanding of HTML. Candidates are
responsible for:
- Identifying emerging search engine algorithm trends.
- Analyzing search engine ranking positions and ROI and implementing strategies to improve search engine visibility and ROI.
- Improving clients´ websites search engine visibility and ROI via “on page” and “off page” SEO strategies.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience, an upbeat and positive attitude, and most importantly demonstrate the ability to identify and resolve challenges in a timely manner.
Candidates without a search engine background, who can demonstrate related technical marketing expertise, are welcome to apply too.
The candidate is required to have a strong knowledge of:
- HTML
- Natural search engine algorithms
- Web Analytical Software (Omniture)
- Essentially, you need to know what does and does not generate ROI via algorithmic search.
Candidate should have the following qualities:
- Ability to multitask
- Work effectively in a fast pace environment
- Effective Data Analysis
