Project Lead / Technical Architect
You:
TIG Global, the World's leading hospitality & hotel internet marketing firm, is looking for a crackerjack, thorough, and efficient programmer / architect
to help plan, scope, and manage the development & deployment of a bevy of sophisticated web projects.
The ideal candidate will be able to quickly evaluate the difficulty & complexity of feature requests and proposed enhancements,
as well as help architect a project from scratch. Your keen eye helps you identify good off the shelf solutions and your experience & vision lets you know what,
when, and how to standardize a solution. You're a jack of all trades, able to fire up Visio and bang out a wireframe, create an estimate with excel,
dabble in a little ColdFusion, a little PHP, and perhaps even dirty your hands with .NET once in a while.
You love the web and don't want to build yesterday's websites, and you know how to get things built on time and on budget.

Hard Skills:
- Journeyman level programming in at least two of the following languages: Perl, PHP, Ruby (RoR), Python, C#, C++, Java, Coldfusion, Javascript, ActionScript.
- Demonstrable understanding of: XHTML & CSS (emphasis on tableless layouts)
- Basic Photoshop & Graphics program proficiency.
- Experience with Subversion (may accept similar source control experience)
- Demonstrable understanding of: Level of effort estimation / personal time tracking.
- Demonstrable experience writing technical specifications & project plans.
Soft Skills:
- Experience working with sales & other non & semi-technical contacts to develop real functional requirements.
- Flexibility of solution to fit budget / time scope.
- High degree of interest in working in a diverse multi-language environment, which may require managing & coordinating with outside resources.
- An eye for design & quality workmanship. You will often be the first and last bastion of quality control for our sites' functionally and end user experience. Unlike Ford we're profitable, but Quality is still job #1. =)
- Ability to use Visio & Microsoft Project.
Salary commensurate with experience.
