Web Marketing Intern
Objective:
TIG Global is the market leader in developing interactive marketing strategies for the hospitality industry - proven to drive powerful results for more than 800 of the finest hotels, resorts, and other companies throughout the world. TIG Global will provide college-level interns with the opportunity to learn about Internet marketing in the travel business by actively participating in the marketing of TIG Global's hotels. Through an intensive semester-long program, interns will be exposed to a variety of business processes and general marketing tactics utilized to promote travel over the Internet. TIG Global is currently seeking several Web Marketing Interns for the fall/winter and spring, with the ability to start as soon as the semester begins and / or immediately!
Qualifications:
Ideal candidates for web marketing internships at TIGG should be planning for a career in advertising, marketing or the Internet and possess all of the following attributes:
- General knowledge of the Internet and the ability to use search engines
- Basic Excel spreadsheet skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Friendly and enthusiastic
- Strong work ethic and eager to learn the fundamentals of the online hotel marketing business
What you will learn:
Interns will have the opportunity to work within a dynamic online-agency environment, and will learn the following:
- Travel industry and online opportunities therein
- Advanced Internet marketing techniques
- Internet Media: research and execution of online media placements and advertising deals
- Client services: delivery of service and reporting to large customer base
- Technology: various tools utilized by start up business
