TIG Global Targets DMOs with New Business Development Team
Briggs and Paganelli to Customize E-marketing Services for DMOs
WASHINGTON, DC – July 9, 2007 –TIG Global (www.TIGglobal.com), the leader in interactive marketing for the hospitality industry, recently announced the addition of two new vice presidents of business development for Destination Marketing Organizations (DMO), Angie Briggs and Steven Paganelli. In their new positions, Briggs and Paganelli will be responsible for expanding TIG Global’s aggressive interactive marketing and web services efforts on behalf of DMOs worldwide.
Briggs brings over sixteen years of tourism and marketing experience to TIG Global, most recently serving as vice president of business development for SMITH Advertising. Her prior experience includes serving as vice president of marketing for a national travel and tourism company, where her responsibilities included branding, advertising, consumer research and Internet marketing. As director of tourism marketing at the Asheville Convention and Visitors Bureau, Briggs implemented an aggressive marketing plan targeting leisure visitors, group tours and international visitation. She has served on the board of the Southeast Tourism Society for the past four years.
Prior to joining TIG Global, Paganelli served as president of the Greater New Haven CVB and the Coastal Fairfield County CVB where he received designation as a certified destination marketing executive by the Destination Marketing Association International (DMAI). During his tenures as president, Paganelli led rebranding efforts at both CVBs and successfully implemented award-winning marketing strategies. Additionally, Paganelli serves on the board of DMAI and previously served as vice chair of the New England Society of CVBs.
“Our extensive hospitality marketing experience and understanding of how people search for travel has made expanding into the DMO vertical a natural extension of our business model,” said Trip Schneck, president and co-founder of TIG Global. “We are thrilled to have Angie and Steven join our growing team, and I am confident that they will be a tremendous asset as we tailor our services for DMOs.”
Briggs and Paganelli will represent TIG Global and exhibit at the DMAI annual convention on July 18-20th in Pittsburgh, PA. At the convention, Briggs and Paganelli will discuss TIG Global’s results driven Internet marketing services, specifically tailored for DMOs. At TIG Global’s booth, attendees can register for a chance to win a lease for a MINI Cooper.
